I know just when we were hoping it was going away, COVID-19 still lurks in the background. So the PSA for today is to remind you that as you go into businesses throughout the country, as you go to work, as you go wherever life takes you, please make sure you scan in using the location's QR code and the NZ COVID Tracer app.
I know I definitely got out of practice scanning in over the Christmas period, but I'm doing it again now. The people in immigration and New Zealand's MIQ facilities are doing a great job helping keep the virus at bay. But each and every one of us also need to do our part.
So I guess what I'm saying is look, last year we all learned a whole lot of things that we didn't even know around business continuity. Now that it's 2021, I urge you to have a look at what you're doing in your business and ask yourself is there anything that has slipped? is there anything you were doing through last year that if we had to go into lockdown again you've stopped doing, or you've stopped thinking about?
Please keep COVID-19 front-of-mind. We don't want it back in the community so we all need to do our part. I've got some great stuff to share with you throughout the rest of this year, but at the moment let's keep scanning those QR codes!
