I was having a look back through Tom Peters The Excellence Dividend the other day and came across a story that I thought I'd share with you. It comes in relation to JP Morgan who was an American industrialist in the late 1800s early 1900s and the story goes how a person approached him with an envelope and asked him for twenty five thousand dollars, back in those days which is about three hundred and fifty thousand dollars in today's funds.
